The Golder Doctor was "the 13th incarnation of the Doctor", portrayed by actor Sam Golder.
His costume consisted of a top hat, dark suit and red tie. He would frequently shout words of sentences of which there was no need for emphasis. This was considered one of his regeneration's idiosyncrasies. Also, as seen from the finale of the classic story Time of Zygon, his incarnation was rather rebellious, as he dueled with the Swords of Rassilon, which he was "forbidden" from using.
His primary companion was Penny Lane, but Richard Whoman and Margret Whoman were known to have assisted in his adventures, such as providing drinks of water.
At one point the car Brum was possessed by an alien force and tried to kill him and Penny whilst riding in Bessie. They defeated Brum but Bessie was lost in the battle.
The Zygons eventually got revenge by tracking him down and killing Penny. He defeated the Zygons using "the toilet paper of Rassilon" but at a cost, triggering his regeneration.
